This service allows customers to make contactless payments with the protection of all their financial transactions and personal data relying on the capabilities of Apple devices. The launch of this service aligns with the bank’s strategy to provide the latest digital solutions to meet the financial and banking needs of its customers, ensuring a distinctive experience for them.
The service enables Ahli Bank customers to conduct contactless payment transactions without the need for credit cards, debit cards, or cash. Users of Apple Pay can simply pass their Apple phones or Apple Watches over payment points in grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, cafes, retail stores, and other points of sale to securely complete their purchases. The authentication process involves the use of Face ID, Touch ID, or entering the user’s passcode, in addition to entering the security code sent to the device once to ensure the highest level of security.
Customers of the bank can also use the service on iPhone, iPad, and MAC devices to make quick and seamless purchases, whether on applications or the web using the Safari browser, without the need to create accounts or repeatedly fill in shipping and billing information in various transactions.
