This account is available for both opened for individuals and legal entities. Customers are required to deposit a specified amount for a predetermined period with fixed interest rate.

Terms and conditions

• The minimum balance required to open the account is: 10,000 JOD, 10,000 US dollars, 10,000 Euros, 10,000 GBP, or equivalent in other currencies.
• Additional deposits to the same account during the agreed -upon period are permitted.
• During the agreed-upon period, withdrawals partial or full, are permitted subject to a penalty for breaking this condition.
• The account will be dormant account if no withdrawal or deposit transactions are made on the account for 36 months.
• To active dormant account, customer must visit/call the bank or representative with a power of attorney to provide the branch with required documents.
• Age must be above 18 if under we need a parental or guardian consent.

Interest, fees, and commissions

• Breaking the deposit before maturity incurs a penalty of 2% per year, plus the prevailing interest rate from the date of withdrawal to maturity, applied to the entire deposit or the amount withdrawn. However, the penalty is deducted from the interest earned, not from the principal amount.
• A fixed monthly account fee of 2 Euro is charged, collected one month after dormancy, irrespective of the account balance.

A credit card MasterCard is issued with a credit limit based on your income, whereby the outstanding balance is paid in full at the end of the month or by monthly installment.
