Jordan Ahli Banklaunched the ” Empowering Girls ” project in partnership with the Naua Platform, a Crown Prince Foundation Initiative, and Princess Taghrid Institute to provide stability and safety for 12 girls with special needs and no home by developing Dar al-Mahaba’s safe house in Aqaba governorate.
The project aims to prepare a safe house for several orphaned girls with special needs who lack family care and bonds. The project includes teaching them some artistic and professional activities such as embroidery, weaving, crochet, painting, and agriculture to provide them with a productive, creative atmosphere and to become active members of the community despite the challenges they may face. The project also aims to increase the young girl’s positive involvement in the community. This project has also successfully equipped the gym, the sewing room, and the garden.
