Amman, August 2026: Jordan Ahli Bank has appointed Mr. Yousef Nawres as Head of Treasury and Financial Markets, joining the bank with extensive experience amassed over 20 years at several banking institutions in Jordan and the UAE.
Nawres boasts specialized experience in treasury and financial markets management, investments, asset and liability management and foreign exchange and money markets trading, alongside expertise in operational risk, electronic trading systems and balance sheet review.
Commenting on the appointment, Jordan Ahli Bank CEO/General Manager, Mr. Ahmad Abu Eideh, stated, “We are pleased to welcome Mr. Yousef Nawres to Jordan Ahli Bank. He possesses banking experience at the local, regional, and international levels across treasury, financial markets and investments, alongside professional experience gained during his work at a number of prominent banking institutions in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, as well as others with a global presence. Before assuming his current position at Jordan Ahli Bank, Nawres held several managerial positions in Jordan at prestigious banking institutions, including Jordan Islamic Bank, Arab Bank, and Bank al Etihad. He also previously held managerial and leadership positions in the UAE at a number of banks, including Head of Treasury and Investments at INVESTBANK, Head of Financial Markets at Standard Chartered and Deputy Head of Treasury and Global Markets at Commercial Bank of Dubai, in addition to his managerial experience at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank.
