Jordan Ahli Bank and the King Hussein Cancer Foundation sign an agreement

The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Jordan Ahli Bank have signed a cooperation agreement to support the KHCF’s university scholarship program, which is designed to cover the cost of university education for high school (tawjihi) graduates who have received treatment at King Hussein Cancer Center.

The agreement was signed by Nisreen Qatamish, the CEO of King Hussein Cancer Foundation, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Hussein, the CEO of Jordan Ahli Bank.

In this regard, Ms. Nisreen Qatamish thanked Jordan Ahli Bank for its support of this program, which is part of the Foundation’s and the Center’s methodology of supporting students who are receiving treatment at the Center academically as an integral part of the concept of holistic treatment and psychological support. She also expressed the importance of supporting students during their treatment journey to enable them to continue their higher education and achieve their ambitions for building the future they aspire to.

 

Dr. Ahmed Al-Hussein stated that this cooperation is in the line with the sustainability approach of the Jordan Ahli Bank, through which we seek to translate the sustainable development goals and achieve them on the ground. We also always strive to support the education wheel, enable students, and qualify them to become active members of their community, especially meeting the ambitions of the Jordanian youth who do not have the financial means to do so. In addition to the bank’s continued support for the cancer insurance program “Reaya” to receive those wishing to subscribe to the program and pay the subscription values, whether from bank customers or non-customers wishing to join the program through all branches of Jordan Ahli Bank in all governorates of the Kingdom.
