Program Purpose:
The program aims to instill the concept of saving among children, and to continuously motivate them to engage in purposeful saving, this is achieved by providing them with a special Hasaleh, which can later be exchanged for encouraging savings returns.
Terms & Conditions:
- The first Hasaleh is granted to the client according to their request to enroll in the program and after signing the program’s terms and conditions.
- When the first Hasaleh is redeemed, customer will grant a cash return of 25% of the savings value available in the Hasaleh up to JOD 12.5.
- The saved amount within the Hasaleh, along with the cash return of up to 12.5 JOD, is deposited into the customer savings account.
- An amount of 100 JOD is kept as a “savings balance” within the savings account.
- The total “savings balance” for the customer is 100 JOD after the customer receives the cash return “12.5 JOD” from the first Hasaleh.
- The customer will grant the second Hasaleh, after redeeming the first Hasaleh at any time during the year.
- When the second Hasaleh is redeemed, the customer will grant a cash return of 50% of the savings value available in the box up to JOD 25.
- The saved amount within the second Hasaleh, along with the cash return of up to 25 JOD, is deposited into customer savings account.
- After redeeming the second Hasaleh, an additional amount of 100 JOD is maintained as a “savings balance” within the savings account to reinforce the concept of progressive saving.
- The total “savings balance” for the customer becomes 200 JOD after receiving the cash returns from both the first and second Hasaleh.
- No fees are charged to the customer for cash withdrawals from the savings account before redeeming the first Hasaleh.
- No fees are charged to the customer for cash withdrawals from the savings account if the account balance is greater than the “savings balance.”
- No e-service fees are charged to the customer.
- If the customer wishes to withdraw the “savings balance” or a portion of it, a one-time fee of 10 JOD will be applied, then the customer will be free to re-enroll in the program with the same benefits, subject to the program’s terms and conditions.
- The program is available to existing Jordan Ahli Bank customers who have active Abna’a Ahli saving accounts, after signing the program’s terms and conditions.
- The “savings balance” is automatically unlocked without any fees only when the child reaches the age of 18.
- Customers who have redeemed the first and the second Hasaleh will have the opportunity to re-enroll with the program again with the same process, terms and conditions without maintaining a new savings balance.
- The program is valid until the end of 2026 and will continue to operate under the existing terms as a minimum, and some enhancements will be made annually if needed.
