KHCF Signs MoU with Jordan Ahli Bank
Amman, February 2022 – A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Jordan Ahli Bank to support KHCF’s University Scholarship Program. The program covers university education costs for high school (Tawjihi) graduates who had received medical treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
The MoU was signed by Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), and Mr. Mohammed Musa Daoud, Chief Executive officer/ General Manager of Jordan Ahli Bank.
Mrs. Qatamish thanked the Jordan Ahli Bank for supporting this program, which is part of KHCF and KHCC’s methodology to academically support their patient students, which is considered an integral part of the foundation and center’s holistic treatment approach. Additionally, she stressed the importance of supporting patient students to enable them to acquire higher education and achieve their aspirations for a better future.
Mr. Daoud stated: “this cooperation is in harmony with the bank’s sustainability approach, through which we seek to achieve sustainable development goals. Moreso, we are always keen to support education and empower students to become active members specially the aspirations of the less fortunate Jordanian youth in the society. Additionally, we will continue supporting KHCF’s Cancer Care Insurance (CCI) program and processing subscription applications and fees whether they were from ahli Bank’s customers or non-customers, throughout our branches all over Jordan.
