Powerful and effective time management is One of the most effective skills you can have in life.  If you’re not managing your time well, there’s no way you’re going to reach your goals Time management will be an uphill battle if you don’t take your time seriously; and the process of achieving the goals is difficult. The truth is that time is the greatest equalizer in life. Regardless who you are, your age, income, gender, race or religion, you have the same amount of time. Whether you are rich or poor, your time is the same. It’s not about how much time you have. It’s about how effectively you manage your time. One of the biggest problems that most entrepreneurs have isn’t just in how they can get enough done in such a demanding market, but also how they maintain some semblance of balance without feeling extreme fatigue. This isn’t just about achieving goals; this is also about quality of life. Balance is the key. If you lack balance in your life, you’re going to feel stressed out. Even if you’re able to effectively juggle your responsibilities, without proper balance you’re going to eventually reach your breaking point. It’s important to not only follow a system that will help you get things done, but also one where you prioritize personal and family time. Don’t forget to do things like take a walk in the park or just sit and listen to your favorite music with headphones on, or paint a picture. That’s more important than you can think. What are the best tips for managing your time? Set goals the right way There’s a right and wrong way to set goals. If you don’t set your goals the right way, then you’ll lack the proper targets, which will force you to fall off track. But when you set them the right way, the sky is the limit. When you do set those goals, make sure you have powerful deep down meanings for wanting to achieve them. Find a good time management system One of the tips for managing your time is to find the right system to actually do it. The quadrant time-management system is probably the most effective. It splits your activities into four quadrants based on urgency and importance. Neither (quadrant 4) are the activities that you want to stay away from, but it’s the not-urgent-but-important quadrant (2) that you want to focus on. Audit your time for seven days in a row Spend seven days straight assessing how you spend the time you do have right now. What are you doing? Record it in a journal or on your phone. Split this up into blocks of 30 minutes or an hour. What did you get done? Was it time wasted? Was it well spent? The results might shock you. Follow the 80-20 rule Another great time management tip is to use the 80-20 Rule, also known as the Pareto Principle. This rule states that 80% of the efforts come from 20% of the results. In sales, it also means that 80 % of the sales come from 20% of the customers. What is the trick? Identify the 20 % of the efforts that are producing 80% of the results and scale that out. You can do this with tracking and analysis. Schedule email response times Turn off your email throughout the day. When your email is pouring in, it’s easy to get distracted. Schedule time to read and respond to emails. If there’s something urgent, someone will call or text you. But when you have your email open, those distractions interrupt your thought flow and it’s harder to get back on track. Eliminate bad habits will help you to manage your time One of the biggest time-wasters we have is our bad habits. Whether it’s watching Netflix, surfing social media, playing games, going out frequently with friends, or so on. Those bad habits take away the precious little time that we do have. Use your time wisely by eliminating your bad habits if you’re serious about achieving big goals in life Take frequent breaks when working One study suggests that you should work for 52 minutes and break for 17 minutes. You might not have the luxury to do that. But you should take frequent breaks. Keep your mental, emotional and physical states at peak levels by breaking frequently. Meditate or exercise every morning manages your time in an unexpected way You might not think that this will help to better manage your time, but meditating and exercising every single morning gives you balance. Make to-do lists in the evening for the next day Every single evening before bed, make a list for the next day. Look at your goals and see what you can do to help move you closer. This doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time. But by making to-do lists, you’re effectively setting goals for the day. Daily goals are easier to achieve while helping to move us towards the longer and bigger goals. Find inspiration when you’re feeling lackluster Find an inspirational source you can turn to when you’re lacking inspiration. It’s hard to stay on track with your time when you lose that drive inside of you. Find ways you can turn the fire back.

Financial goals differ from one person to another depending on the social status. We all have goals and requirements, but they vary depending on the social and financial status. The single would aim to save money to go for vacation, while the married would save money to pay school tuitions or get the different daily family needs. When you have a goal you are looking to achieve, this helps you to focus on achieving this goal. If you don’t have a specific and clear goal that enables you to measure your progress, how will you know what to do? When setting these goals, make sure they are smart, specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound targets. Otherwise, you may have difficulty achieving it. What are the most important financial goals that each parent should set for his family? Planning for the future What do we mean by ‘planning for the future’? Planning for future requirements such as children’s education (schools and universities), buying a house and establishing a business. These are the most important financial goals and events that each family faces over the years, in addition to planning for other unexpected events. Contingency savings Each family should have a fund for contingency savings to cover unexpected incidents such as hospital invoices, car repairs or unplanned travel. Saving expenses for at least 3 to 6 months, if not more, can prevent a negative event from turning into a tragedy. Getting an insurance Each family should be covered by an insurance plan for the events that are uncovered by the contingency savings. Make sure you consider life insurance, health insurance, property insurance, car insurance, disability insurance and, in some cases, comprehensive insurance. Savings for university tuitions It is important to start saving in order to ensure a good education for the children for a promising employment and future. The family brings love and joy into your life, yet it brings along too many responsibilities towards oneself and kids. Make sure you set a well-studied financial plan that ensures a good life in the future. Retirement savings It is an important matter for parents to plan for the future and save money for the retirement. Some people may say that it is very important to save for children’s education, however, all parents should set goals for their retirement as well and ensure that saving for this period is as important as saving for children’s education.

Daily Habits We all need daily habits to help us maximize our abilities and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Develop a Night-Time Routine We live in an era of busyness. We are expected to always be on and many love to wear the badge of honor. But sleep is one of the (if not the) most important components of health. When we think of good daily habits to develop, sleep is rarely even on the list. But developing a night routine is crucial to level up your life. Sleep helps us consolidate memories, process information in the background, and strengthen our energy levels for the challenges ahead. World-class athletes, like Roger Federer, know the importance of resting to perform at their best. Exercise Your body is your most important tool. The best way to take care of it is to develop the habit of exercise regularly. Exercise has tremendous benefits both for the body and the mind. For starters, it boosts your confidence and energy levels. It’s also a great way to combat stress and turn you into a calmer person. And the cherry on the cake: you’ll sleep better! Don’t make the mistake of going to the gym for an hour and lift weights until you pass out. Start small and develop the habit into your daily schedule and then ramp it up. Exercise a couple of minutes every day. Get started To make exercise a daily habit, schedule it into your calendar and set reminders. If possible, always exercise at the same time. This will help you build a routine before, during, and after exercising. Eat Healthily Food is fuel for your body. Having a healthy diet gives you more energy, increases productivity, and fuels your workouts. Eating healthier is one of those good daily habits that everyone is aware of but few of us practice. Why? We all know what real food is. Meat, fish, vegetables, nuts: good. Chips, candy, soda: not so great. We don’t see our diet as an important part of our habits. But once you get it in your head how much your diet influences your life-energy levels, good decision making, mood, happiness-you instantly make the switch to be more mindful of what you eat. An easy hack to eating healthier is to cook at home: restaurants normally add a lot of salt and sugar to the food in order to enhance the flavor. When you cook from home, you have more control over ingredients and preparation methods. And here’s another pro tip: if you only have healthy and tasty food in your house, you don’t even have to make a choice. You’ll eat what is in front of you. Your diet starts at the supermarket. Meditate Meditation is self-observation. It helps you develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivist, and a calm seeing of the true nature of things. I consider meditation a keystone habit. I normally meditate in the morning for 10–15 minutes using Headspace. It affects many other areas of my life: work, productivity, personal development, mood, relationships, stress, etc. I suggest you start with basic level meditation, which is designed to help you take a step back, disentangle yourself from your thoughts and re-enter your body. To develop the habit of meditating daily, start small. Just meditate for 2 minutes per day. You can get started using these free guided meditations. Don’t worry about depth or “doing it right”. That comes later. For now, just focus on building the habit of meditating every day. As you get used to the meditation practice, you can scale it up to 5 or 10 minutes, whatever works best for you. Assess the impact that meditation has in your life and which areas you want to improve and focus on meditating specifically for improving on those areas. Eliminate Clutter The cost of goods has decreased rapidly over the last few decades and we now possess a lot of everything. Own fewer clothes, shoes, cooking materials, bedding sheets, and towels. Give away or throw directly in the trash to create white space in your life. But De-cluttering your life is more than just getting rid of materialistic possessions: it’s about focusing on less goals (one is enough), eliminating items from your to-do list, letting go of toxic relationships, consuming less social media, cancelling the gym membership you never use, bailing on time-consuming meetings and pointless arguments, keeping your desk clean at the end of the day, and single-tasking. Use the 80/20 rule to find the truly important things in your life. Focus on the 20% of things that bring you 80% of the results. This will help you stop sweating the small stuff and focus on the bigger picture instead. Simplify your life. Remove to have more time for the things you love. Journal your life Using a Journal is the most effective way to understand your past, present, and future. Writing your thoughts down every day helps you sort your mental clutter, be clearer on your ambitions and goals, consolidates what you learn, increases your gratitude, and improves insight and understanding of your life. A journal records the entire life history that you can look back on and see how much you’ve grown. To get started, start simple: write one thing you accomplished, one thing you are grateful for, and one thing you are struggling with. Once you have developed the habit of writing daily, you can expand on your template by adding other things you find relevant, like progress on big goals and steps you are taking to accomplish them. To make journaling one of your good daily habits, make it a part of your nigh-time routine. Write down your thoughts on a notebook before going to bed and let your brain process the information during sleep. To start developing these good daily habits, follow these 3 rules: Start Small: in the beginning, your only objective is to include these good daily habits in your routine; start with the minimum possible to remove friction
